This is a shot of 29th of November Street (Ulica 29. novembra). Here you can see an example of Belgrade’s mish-mash of architecture, which may not always be pretty, but it certainly makes the city interesting. The shop on the left is a travel agent, the middle one sells sweet and savoury pancakes (palacinke) and the bright yellow one sells, well little Indian/Asian looking objects!
This week’s Belgrade Phone Photo was put up a day earlier because I’m moving flats. So, it’s goodbye to this street and my old neighbourhood!

You’ve caught part of that building on the right that I always want to go back and photograph. Such a neglected, but very beautiful facade. I’ll check out the India Shop, too!

You lived there? That’s so neat.
I still think it’s strange that the Serbian Cyrillic letter that makes the “ts” sound is represented by a “c” in the Latin alphabet. When I first learnt that, I thought that it was quite strange.
