It was unusually quiet and tranquil whilst walking around Belgrade city centre yesterday. Many of the main streets were free of the usual bumper-to-bumper traffic because earlier in the day there had been a marathon and the roads were still blocked off. This is a photo of Kralja Milana street, which is a large thoroughfare connecting Terazije with Slavija square. In the background, you can just make out the Temple of Saint Sava.
