I was eating in a restaurant opposite the Cathedral (Saborna crkva) in Belgrade this weekend and captured this shot of a wedding party leaving to go the wedding reception (the bridesmaid had just entered the car by the time I got my phone out). A Roma brass band came out of nowhere and played for a few minutes before everyone left. Don’t think they managed to get any tips unfortunately.
Wedding party motorcades pass by my flat on the Bulevar every weekend and they constantly honk their car horns as if it were the end of the world – not pleasant when you’re nursing a hangover on a Sunday morning!

Love weddings! My daugher’s getting married here in September, but not at Saborna Crkva.
BTW, I imagine you were having a meal at Znak Pitanja? I ate there not long ago, after many years, and it was AWFUL! A definite decline of this landmark restaurant. How was your meal?

Congratulations on your daughter getting married!
Yeah, I was at Znak Pitanja. The meal was OK – but now how it was 2 years ago – definitely a decline. Shame considering its one of the places in all the tourist guides…
