This beautiful church is the Church of St. Gavrilo the Archangel (Hram svetog arhangela Gavrila). It’s located on Humska street in the Dedinje area of Belgrade, opposite the Partizan football team stadium. I just had to stop and take a photo as it was a pleasant, and very tranquil, contrast to the dozens of police in full riot gear and football fans getting ready for the game later that afternoon. The church was built between 1937 and 1939 in memory of Serbian soldiers killed in World War I.
