A Yankee In Belgrade has to be one of my favourite blogs about Belgrade and Serbia. ‘Bibi’, an American woman who has lived in Belgrade for some 30 years, has created a fantastic photo blog over the last 8 months featuring photos taken on her walks around the city – from photos of interesting buildings or monuments to funky hairstyles and people going about their daily business. ‘Bibi’ always includes a short piece of text related to the photo adding an extra dimension to her compelling collection of photographs. A Yankee In Belgrade is updated every single day, so there’s always something to new to see and learn about. Bibi hopes that you will “learn something more about Belgrade and Serbia other than what the media would always like you to believe.”
